Beginning Drawing and Painting in two units

Fall workshop in two units: unit 1 is drawing with pencil and charcoal.  Anita will teach  the skills you will need to create realistic drawings and portraits without using projectors, grids or tools.   Unit two  will  be beginning oil painting where you will use the skills you gained from the drawing classes to apply them to color and learning to manipulate oil paints.  Several different styles of applying paint will be shown so that you can learn to paint the right way and your way from the start. Pink Clematis Watercolor

This dramatic flower caught the sunlight and was such a delight to paint.  Watercolor is the perfect medium for  the translucent effect on the petals and the blurry background vegetation.  I will be teaching a beginning watercolor class this fall at The Stampin Post in Old Town Temecula.  Check the workshop flyer above for more information!
